I was poking around the blogosphere and came across this review of the Tuffy Portable Safe on MOTUS. Of course, the most obvious use of this safe is firearm storage for individuals who live in areas where concealed carry is legal. Gun free zones create the need for secure in-car storage and the Tuffy Safe would make an excellent alternative to expensive built-in storage boxes because it can be secured via the included cable.
The Tuffy Portable Safe would also allow for the secure storage of GPS devices, radar detectors, cameras and other kit we sometimes leave behind. Leaving stuff like that out in the open, on a seat or console, is like putting a “bust this window” sign on your car. Not a good idea.
