Last year I reviewed the Grey Ghost Stealth Operator pack (SOP) in 500D Cordura and Black Diamond Ripstop. Since then, Grey Ghost Gear has been releasing the pack in a number of different colorways including Kryptek patterns. According to the manufacturer, Kryptek camo uses a bi-directional design to effectively conceal in a multitude of terrains that have either a lateral or vertical flow. The bi-level layering of the patterns create a 3-D effect that helps ensure concealment at both close and long ranges. Obviously, for military and hunting applications, Kryptek can be highly beneficial. Also, depending on the pattern, it can be pretty cool looking also. With winter rapidly approaching, one that caught my eye was the Stealth Operator in Kryptek Yeti.
