I’ve been a Casio G-Shock fan for a while. One of my daily wear watches has been a GD-100-1B and it has been my go-to for any activity where my watch might take a beating including workouts, hiking, biking, diving, kayaking, etc. It’s never let me down.
I’ve always pined after one of the “Master of G” professional series watches which include the Frogman, Mudman, Gulfman, and now their newest watch in the line… the Casio G-Shock Rangeman.
Well, I took the plunge and ordered the Rangeman GW-9400-1, which is Casio’s first triple sensor G-Shock. It includes an Altimeter, Barometer, Compass, and Thermometer. It’s one of the larger G-Shocks; roughly about the size of GD-100-1B (which I like). And solar powered so the battery never needs replacing.
